Our Ministries

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
This is a time the Body of Christ meets each week on Sundays at 10:45 a.m. We have a blended worship experience with both contemporary and traditional music along with the preaching of The Word. Our focus is to lift up the name of Jesus in worship and praise. We offer online worship opportunities through YouTube and Facebook by going to Heritage First Church of God both livestream and archive videos by date. We welcome everyone to our times of worship! Our motto is “Depart to Serve.”

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
In this ministry, kindergarten through 5th grade students learn to build a solid foundation built on Jesus Christ.
A life focused on growing closer to the Father begins with this necessary foundation.

YOUTH MINISTRY
In this ministry, 6th through 12th grade students begin to understand how to live out an active faith. We focus on developing spiritual disciplines that can be applied to their daily lives while also developing a strong biblical foundation on which to build their futures.
Through meeting those around us where they are, we help connect them to the One True God that loves.

WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY
We invite everyone to our 6:00 p.m. Prayer time and Bible Study which includes a song or hymn and sharing of prayer concerns for the week. The Bible Study each week follows the International Sunday School calendar of Scripture passages. We conclude our time together right around 7:00 each session.

CHILDREN OF PROMISE
Heritage sponsors children through the Church of God sponsorship program called Children of Promise. Through the monthly support, these children are able to attend school, are given school supplies, food for their family and special gifts throughout the year. Our current children are Ramesh Sunar from Nepal, India and Monica Jane Manalo from the Philippines. Our sponsored child Mary Rose Cahutay from the Philippines recently graduated from the program, and it is such a blessing to see these children be successful students and move on to further their education in college classes. We are thankful to be able to raise the financial support for them each year!

Whether you are a single lady by the loss of your spouse or divorce, we invite you to join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am for our Single Women's Bible Study, where we provide support and encouragement to one another while studying the Word of God. For more information call our church office at 423-245-4988 or click the link below to reach out to us.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

This is a year-long project each year and donations of items to fill the boxes are collected all year. This involves everyone in the congregation from small children to the adults!

They enjoy supporting our outreach and mission projects such as participating in the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and they bring donated canned goods for our Food Pantry throughout the year.
